Deprived Regions of the Country (Iran)

Every year on the occasion of Ghadir day celebrations, some assistance used to be delivered to the deprived regions of the country by the great religious authority, grand Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani (may God bless him). To follow this tradition and considering the special attention of the late Marja to this ceremony, celebrations were held in the current year on the occasion of blessed Eid of Ghadir-e Khom with the assistance of his office in some deprived regions of the country and delegates were dispatched by head of his office, Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Jawad Fazel Lankarani, to Zabul of Iran. All clerics and preachers of that district attended the celebration of Ghadir-e Khom and received eidi (gifts mainly in cash).
This great celebration was held on Saturday 6/December/ 2009 on the day of Eid-e Ghadir-e Khom.
